Analogy: The building is over 250 years old. That's older than the United States of America!
That’s as old as the Egyptian pyramids.
That’s older than the Egyptian pyramids.
I live in a beautiful apartment. It’s as fancy as a palace.
Your smile is as bright as the shining sun.
My cat is so soft.
It’s as soft as a pillow.
I have an office.
It’s really big. It’s as big as a
football stadium.
I live in a house.
It’s big. It’s as big as my
neighbor’s house.
I live in a house.
It’s big. It’s as big as a
ten-story office building.
LTC computers are slow. They are as slow as a turtle.
I entered a room. It was as dark as a dungeon. You could hear no sounds there. It was quiet as the streets at night.
Suddenly, I felt a pain. It was as painful as a bee sting.
New York City is the principal city for economics in
the USA.
I was tired, but in spite of this, I stayed awake in
class.
I failed the test, but in spite of this, I was still
able to pass the level.
