Conversation and Vocabulary, Beginners

Yesterday, we had class in the other room because it was so cold in here.  There was snow in the morning, but there was no delay.  We came at normal time.  But, now we know tomorrow there is no school because of the parade.  When your team wins the championship in the USA, the city has a parade.  It is freezing in here!  We talked about our country’s capitals.  After class, I went home.  I went to the park.  I went to the gym because it was raining outside.  I ran on the treadmill in the gym.  I also lifted some weights.  Then, I went home and had dinner.  I had rice, vegetables, and garbanzo beans.  Then, I fell asleep because I was so tired.  I fell asleep on the ground at 9:30. Then, I went into the bed and fell asleep there.

*Do you have parades for sports in your country?  If not, when do you have parades?  What do people do at parades?

*When did you fall asleep last night?

Example:

On Friday, I went to the Eagles’ parade.  I went with Nawaf.  We saw our friends in Center City.  We danced with our friends.  We celebrated the Eagles championship. 

On Friday, I slept at home.  I talked with my family in Saudi Arabia.  I ate kabsa with my friends.  I watched a movie on Netflix.  I went to the gym.  I ran on the treadmill.  I smoked hookah.  On Saturday, I went to ……….I saw……..
