Attack by the Beach
By Nate Feldman
Jackson and Nora were enjoying some coffee and snacks by the beach on a bright, sunny afternoon. The waves made a low rumble as they softly came to shore.
Nora had just returned from a camping trip to the desert and had with her an old torch he found while hiking one day. She thought it was so cool and wanted to bring it home as a souvenir. Jackson was a bit puzzled why she would decide to bring it home.
After they finished their snack, they decided to head back to her apartment in town. When they arrived there, however, they discovered someone had broken in. The door was open and appeared to had dents in it.
They entered cautiously and looked around. There didn't seem to be anything out of place. However, as they planned to call the police, a masked figure emerged from under Nora's bed. The person was armed with a gun and ordered them to hand over the torch in Nora's hand. She nervously gave the attacker the torch, unsure what the person wanted with it, or if they would hurt her.
The masked figure grabbed the torch and darted out of the apartment. Jackson and Nora were shaken, but quickly decided to call the police about what had happened.

Class Notes, January 15, 2026
By Nate Feldman
*In LTC class, Kate and Natalia put in the most effort and use the Spark Program. Other students putting in effort today were Tamoka, Jaoa, and Dunya, who were also using the Spark Program. Many of the other students, however, seem indifferent to their studies, and will watch pop songs on you tube, or stare at their phones.
