Reading and Writing, Chichen Itza

 

These days, a lot of things are high-cost because of inflation.  Now, when you go to a supermarket, you can see the prices have increased.  And other high-cost things are cars, gold, apartments, and houses.  This is all because of inflation.

 

I learned English because of Mr. Nate’s class.

I learned English because you are great!

I learned English because of you. 

The prices have increased because of inflation.  So, now many things are high-cost.  Food, gas, cars, gold, apartments, and houses are all high-cost. 

 

*What is happening with electricity in Pakistan?

 

Sentence structure:

Subject + verb + object

Subject + verb + adjective

Subject + verb + adjective +prepositional phrase

Nate is my teacher in the USA.

Pakistan is a country in South Asia. 

Ahmed is a student at ELS.

ELS is a language school in Philly.

Pakistan has an electricity problem.  People steal electricity.  The government doesn’t like this.  However, people bribe officials.  The price of electricity is very high.  It is 45% higher than other countries.  The IMF wants that higher.  Also, it is so hot now.  It is 50 degrees.  The situation is bad.

Pakistan has an electricity problem, and the government wants to stop this.
