SSP Barcelona, Day 8

I came to ELS so that I could improve my English.

I came to ELS because I want to improve my English. 

 I took medicine because I don’t feel well.

I took medicine so that I can recover.

 

I ate because I was hungry.  I ate so that I could fill myself up. 

 I studied hard because there was a big test.

I studied hard since there was a big test. 

 

I have been here since 8:30 this morning.  (from that time until now)

I am here since I want to speak better English (because)

 

I came here in order to meet new people.

I came here so that I can/will meet new people.

 

I brush my teeth everyday.  That is why I never have cavities. 

I wash my hands all of the time.  For this reason, my hands are nice and clean. 

I eat apricots and walnuts every day for snack.  Because of this, I have good health (I think)

I study for the exam very well.  That is the reason I get good scores J

Mr. Nate plays the annoying sound in my class.  That is why I am angry at him. 

I watched a video about plant drugs.  That is why the class was boring. 

It is time for the lunch break.  That is why we are stopping the lesson.  Good bye.
