Too Little Opportunities: A short play

Ashley is talking to Kevin about emigrating.

Ashley: I am thinking of moving away and going somewhere else.  The prices are too high here, and there aren't enough job opportunities!

Kevin: Are you sure?  I mean, I have a job.  Perhaps you are being too impatient.

Ashley: Kev, you have your job because your dad hooked you up.  I've been all over the place trying to connect with the right people.....it's too difficult here.  It's been almost a year.  That's enough time, don't you think?

Kevin: Perhaps.  But, well, I can see if I can find anything.  I'd hate to see you lose away.  The thought is too depressing to even imagine!

Question: What is Ashley's problem?
