*When we do team building at the Paradise Farms Camp, we always start with large group activities. This begins with the students having to get into a large, continuous circle, surrounding one of the staff members that have been selected to lead the activity.
Often the staff member walks around, forcing the students to concentrate as they must form the circle around this instructor, and if they just form a circle without the instructor in the middle, they have failed the activity. So, if the instructor moves, the students have to follow him/her.
Once the students have formed their circle, the instructor asks some questions:
*What were the instructions?
*What did I mean by a continuous circle?
*What were ways you could have been connected together?
*What did you find challenging about this activity?
