Alcoholic = drinks too much alcohol
Chocoholic = eats too much chocolate
Shopaholic = goes to the mall too much
Bookaholic = reads all the time J J J
Filmaholic = watch so many movies
Foodaholic = eat too much
Foodie = passionate about food
The center of my life = the most important thing
Ex. Studying is the center of my life; family is the
center of my life;
No matter what = it has no effect on other things
Ex. No matter what you do, I’ll always be there for
you
“Work is the center of my life no matter what else is
going on.”
“Here are some tips for you” = here is some advice for
you
“Even if no one else is there.”
Even if = it has no effect
Even if you say sorry, I never want to see you again
Even if you buy me a rolex watch, I won’t wear it
because I don’t like you.
Even if I practice 12 hours a day, I don’t think I’ll
be good enough to become an NBA player.
Day and night = all of the time
