Master's Language Skills, Vocabulary

Particulate matter: very tiny objects or things

Exhaust: smoke coming from a car or a factory

Efficient: something done in a fast and effective way

Broadly: generally; for the most part

Ex. The weather is broadly cold in the northeast during the winter. 

Ex. Broadly speaking, I spend more time outside than inside on a daily basis.  Broadly speaking, the students do well in classes at ELS. 

Mites: tiny bugs that often eat wood

Flow rate: how fast air or water or gas moves

*I love to listen to water flowing in a river.
