I am 42 years old.
You are 42 years old.
I am as old as you.
My house is as big as your house.
My car is as fast as your car.
I speak English as well as you.
I cook as nicely as my mother.
My car uses as much gas as your car.
I ate a sandwich.
You ate a sandwich. You ate as
much as me.
I am not as tall as Ali. Ali isn’t as short as me.
I am not as young as Faisal.
Nobody is as small as Marwan.
I have three brothers.
You have three brothers. I have
as many brothers as you.
I have two cars.
You have four cars. I don’t have
as many cars as you (do).
My house is worth 1.5 million. And your house is worth 1.5 million. My house is worth as much as yours. My house is as expensive as yours.
*Think of things in your life. Compare them to other things.
>>My dorm room in Philly isn’t as nice as my bedroom
in my country.
>>My homestay is as nice as my regular house.
>>My reading class is as interesting as my
speaking class because I have the same teacher in both.
Although we have more money than South Korea, we have
worse technology.
Although I like you, I want to kill you.
Although he is a rich man, he shops at dollar
tree.
Although he is a poor man, he shops at Gucci.
