Reading and Writing, Sahara, Paragraph #2

Assignment: This session we have learned about descriptive writing.  We’ve learned how to write using adjectives and analogies to describe things more clearly.

For example, I am a man (not descriptive) vs.  I am a man with short, dark hair, a short beard, and brown eyes (more descriptive)

Use descriptive writing to describe one of the following in a paragraph:

*A scary or bad place

*A park or tourist attraction you like to visit

*A building you are familiar with

*A beautiful natural area you have visited
