*Weekend assignment: Write a story about a tradition you have. I will give an example in class.
*I have a tradition with my family. We all gather on Thanksgiving for a big
family meal. Typically, on this day,
families throughout the United States gather for a big feast. We are supposed to be thankful of the
different things in our lives.
For me, personally, on this day I have different
things I like to do. I like to start the
day with a race in the morning. There
are many 5K races that happen on Thanksgiving.
People call them “Turkey Trots.”
Maybe, you are jealous because my day is better than yours!
