*Make a mystery story with the vocabulary we learned in Unit 3A, "Was King Tut Murdered?" Use the vocabulary from the book. Make it a mystery if possible. If not, just use the words.
Example:
I was taking a vacation with my family at a luxurious hotel. It was the most wonderful time until the person in the room next door was found dead. It was very mysterious, as I saw him the day before by the swimming pool, and he seemed perfectly healthy and normal. I began to think maybe he was murdered by his family. People said he had a bad injury to his head. Also, some of his bones were fractured. So, I decided to investigate.
I pretended to be room service and went into the room. I analyzed everything carefully. The room was mostly empty. I looked under the bed. Nothing. I looked in the bathroom. Nothing as well. Nothing offered any clues to what happened to this man. I thought maybe it was a terrible accident.
I left the room and went out to the town for the day. As I was leaving the hotel, however, a masked figure came from behind a tree. They had a giant hammer and wanted to chase me, so I began running. To be continued.....
