Because it is affecting the pre-order sales for Free City 2, Antwan, the CEO of Soonami, wants to get rid of Guy from the Free City game because people love him so much. First, he comes up with the idea of rebooting the game so that Guy forgets everything. At first, this is successful because Guy goes back to how he was in the beginning of the story, working at the bank and saying the same line "Don't Have a Good Day, Have a Great Day."
But, when Millie's avatar comes back, she kisses Guy, and this brings back the memories to him. They now know that Antwan has hidden information he stole from Millie's game at the other side of the ocean in the game. Guy has also convinced all the players in the game to stop just doing what they were programmed to do. They should not accept life the way it is. So, they refuse to participate in the game.
This all makes Antwan angrier, so they try to destroy the city's buildings. But, when Guy gets to the water anyway, Antwan decides to send DUDE, an unfinished character, who looks like Guy, but is very muscular and powerful, to try and destroy Guy. They get into a big fight, and Guy is able to fight back with weapons from other movies, such as Captain America's shield and the light-sabers from Star Wars. But, what defeats DUDE is when he gets the sunglasses Guy wears, he becomes excited about all the things he can see.
