Can anyone summarize the issues dealing
with air quality and indoor air pollution and the dangers of exposure to indoor
air pollutants?
*According to the article,
indoor air pollution is just as dangerous as being exposed to air pollution
outside. This is because outside the
pollutants are dispersed by the wind, but indoors they are suspended in the
air, and we are all breathing the same air.
This causes major health problems, such as headaches, stuffy nose, and
even ailments, such as cancer.
*According to
the article in the Philadelphia Inquirer, today we are going to get the biggest
snowfall of the year so far. The article mentioned that because of this
snow, they decided to have the Super Bowl parade in Philly on Friday instead of
today or Wednesday. One key idea of the reading is that there will be more snow if you
live south of the city. It also pointed out that because it is falling
during the late afternoon, it will affect people going home from work and other
places. The article talked about the time the snow will begin. It will begin earlier if you are south of the
city. The article also covered how much snow has fallen in
Philly this year until now.
