Is it easy for you to lose your train of thought?
Or, are you able to stay focused even when there are a lot of
distractions? If so, when do you lose your train of thought?
Vocabulary:
1. Occupant:
a person who lives in a particular place (i.e. a house, apartment, dormitory)
Ex. Most of you are occupants of the LLC dormitory.
2. Regulation:
a rule the government sets for companies to follow
3. Retrofit:
to make a current building have more modern equipment
4. Insulation:
something put inside a wall to protect it from the outside elements
5. Upgrade:
an improvement of something. I hope the new
computers in LTC are an upgrade from the last ones. If we get a new textbook, I hope it is an
upgrade from this one. The old teacher
left, and was replaced by Mr. Nate. This
was an upgrade 😊
Just kidding! Or am I? Idk.
6. Sealed:
to cover something with something.
7. Trap:
to stop something from leaving or going somewhere else.
8. Demographics:
the population of a country and how it is made up of different types of people
9. Vulnerable:
in a weak position
10. For the sake of:
for this particular purpose
Ex.
I came here for the sake of my English abilities.

is something in your life you would like to upgrade?
2. Were
you ever trapped somewhere? How were you
trapped?
3. When
do you feel vulnerable?
4. You
are studying English for the sake of what?
