Char
House and Chipotle
Restaurants are places we all go
to enjoy a nice meal with someone. I
like many types of food, but two places I really enjoy are Char House, an Indian
restaurant which makes delicious Tikka Masala, and Chipotle which has Mexican food.
Although they have some similarities, they are quite different as well.
One thing they are different is the type of food they serve. Char House has Indian food, which is mostly
spicy. Chipotle on the other hand is not
nearly as spicy. Most of the food is
pretty mild.
Another thing that is different is the price.
A meal at Char House is about $30 for each person. In contrast, Chipotle is quite cheap. The average cost per person is $10.
The final difference is the service. One restaurant has someone serve you behind
the counter. The other has a waiter who
comes to your table.
Char House and Chipotle are similar in many ways. First of all, they both have rice on the
menu. Mexican food uses a lot of
rice. Indian food uses a lot of rice as
well. Also, they both have comfortable
places to eat. Both restaurants have
nice furniture.
These restaurants are also different in many
ways. Their prices are quite
different. Char House is $30 per person,
while Chipotle is about $10 per person.
Also, the service is different in both places. At Chipotle they give the food behind a
counter. At Char House, on the other
hand, the waiter comes to your table.
Philadelphia to Riyadh
*weather
*population
*rules
One big difference between Riyadh and Philadelphia is
the weather. It is extremely hot in
Riyadh during the summer. Sometimes it
gets as high as 50 degrees. For that
reason, many people must stay inside in the summer months. It gets hot in Philly in the summer, but not
that hot. Also, it snows in Philly
during the winter sometimes. It doesn’t
snow in Riyadh.
Another difference is the population. Philly is a big city, but it only has about
1.5 million people. Riyadh on the other
hand has 7.5-8 million, so it is much bigger.
The rules in the cities are different. For example, in Riyadh I can park my car
anywhere. In Philly, however, I have my
car taken away and I have to pay $400 because I parked it in the city. So, these rules are so different.

I had two teachers this session, Mr. Eric and Mr.

are different.
