Date: June 6, 2024

Warm-up activity: Get in pairs and discuss the most important items or things you have in your

homes and or apartments.   Make a list together.  Compare lists with one another.

Share the lists with the class.

Reading Activity: 

Read P.40-41, “The One Thing I can’t Live Without.”  Discuss the items mentioned on P.40-41.  Do you agree with the list? 

Grammar Activity:

Walk around the class pointing out things with “this, that, and these” to one another.  For example, “this is a compute or these are computers.” 

Show pictures of things from your lives on phones.  Use “this/that/these” to show different things (i.e. “This is my house.  That is my brother,” etc.)
