My team beat Ahmed’s team 7-0.  We really dominated them. 

Nate is able to speak 7 languages.  This is a testament of his intelligence.

Ahmed came to ELS to study English. 

Mr. Nate works at ELS to teach English to other students to help the world.

To improve my English, I am taking classes at ELS.

Riyadh is the capital city of Saudi Arabia.  People go there to do many things.  Here is my advice for you.  First, visit the Kingdom Tower.  Everyday, people go there to eat lunch and do work.  Go to the top of the tower to see an amazing view of the city.

Clark Park is a park in Philadelphia near the SJU campus.  People go there to relax.  Some people go there to play basketball with friends.  Other people go there to use the playground. 

Dunkin is a famous place in the world.  People go there to eat donuts and drink coffee. 

ELS is a famous school in the USA and around the world.  Students go there to study English.  Some students go there to waste time.  For example, some students in SSP class come here to do nothing but look at their phone all day.

Hi, my name is Ahmed.  I am a student at ELS.  I study here to improve my English.  I take six classes.  I take reading and writing to learn reading and writing, not to make jokes.

Yesterday, I went home.  After I went home, I had coffee and did work.  Then, I went outside.  I swam in the pool and I went running.  Then, I ate dinner.

Yesterday, I went home.  While I was in the car, I was listening to music. 

Yesterday, I went to my apartment.  While I was in the gym, I was speaking to my mother. 

I called you at 8 PM yesterday, but you did not pick up the phone.  Why not?

I’m sorry Mr. Nate, but I was sleeping.

Eric: Hello Ahmad!  What brings you to my office?

Ahmad: Mr. Eric, I hate my afternoon class.

Eric: Really?  What’s wrong?

Ahmad: While I was in class, Mr. Nate was sleeping.

Eric: Really?

Ahmad: Yeah, and he was snoring, too!
