On Friday, we began watching Free Guy. Guy is a banker in Free City, a video game that has "sunglasses people," which in fact are players from the real world, and characters created from the game. He likes to tell everyone around him, "Don't have a good day, have a great day!"
Guy does not realize he is a player in a video game. He is in love with one of the sunglasses girls, and when he puts on one of the sunglasses, he sees things in the game he did not previously see.
Eventually, Guy tries to impress the girl by trying to get to a higher level as a player. But, he wants to do this by helping people, not fighting people. This is getting attention from the real world, who knows him as "Blue Shirt Guy," because he is always dressed in a blue shirt.
Meanwhile, Millie, the woman who is playing the character of the girl with sunglasses is trying to find information from the game to prove that the company that created Free City stole the idea from her and Keyes, a former partner of hers who now works at the company.
