"I laugh in the face of death," says Puss in Boots. Or so he thinks. An outlaw to some. A hero to others. A legend to all. Puss in Boots has been on many adventures throughout his lives, and in many cases, due to reckless behavior he has died. Now, he is down to his last life.
At first, he isn't worried. As he says, "I laugh in the face of death." But, when he is confronted by a wolf bounty hunter and is almost killed, for the first time he feels fear. So, he decides to retire as Puss in Boots and live with Mama Luna, an unusual woman who owns hundreds of cats she pretends she doesn't have when she thinks Health Department officials are near.
But, when Puss hears that a map to the mythical wishing star has been found, he decides to retrieve it from Big Jack Horner so he can get his nine lives back. But will it be worth it?
