In my opinion, ELS should have longer days because the
students will learn more and become more fluent in their English. If students study 11 hours a day, their
English level will get to higher levels than if they only study for 7
hours. Some people say that 11 hours is way too much and that students
will be exhausted (counter-argument). It
is true that students may be a bit tired, but they came here to learn English
and they have to realize that to achieve great things you must make maximum
effort (refutation).
Opinion: Should School Uniforms be Mandatory?
Growing
up, I always had to wear a school uniform, so it naturally shocked me when I
realized there was a debate to this topic (hook). Some people are arguing that school uniforms
should not be mandatory for a variety of reasons. But, is this a good idea? From
my perspective, school uniforms should be required if the school wants it, but
it shouldn’t be forced by the government (thesis).
