Opinion: Should ELS have longer hours?

In my opinion, ELS should have longer days because the students will learn more and become more fluent in their English.  If students study 11 hours a day, their English level will get to higher levels than if they only study for 7 hours.  Some people say that 11 hours is way too much and that students will be exhausted (counter-argument).  It is true that students may be a bit tired, but they came here to learn English and they have to realize that to achieve great things you must make maximum effort (refutation). 

Opinion: Should School Uniforms be Mandatory? 

Growing up, I always had to wear a school uniform, so it naturally shocked me when I realized there was a debate to this topic (hook).  Some people are arguing that school uniforms should not be mandatory for a variety of reasons.  But, is this a good idea?  From my perspective, school uniforms should be required if the school wants it, but it shouldn’t be forced by the government (thesis).
