The Strange Light: A Story
By Nate Feldman
It was
late at night, and Mark was in his living room.
He suddenly saw a bright, green flashing light. He didn’t hear
any sound, and it was also a clear night, so he knew it wasn’t lightning.
He thought this light was strange, so he went to the window.
He looked
outside, and he saw nothing. He looked
into the sky. It was dark. Then, there was the bright, green flashing
light again. He saw the light was making
strange movements. It moved up and
down. Then, it moved sideways. It still didn’t make a sound.
Mark was frightened. He thought there was a UFO in his area. He got out his phone to take a video of this
bright, flashing green light with strange movements. Suddenly, the light stopped, and it was dark
again. He waited for the light to
return, but it didn’t.
The next
day, Mark saw his neighbor, Tom. “Did
you see the strange, flashing light last night?” Mark asked Tom.
“No, when
was it?” Tom asked.
“Around 11
to 12,” Mark answered.
“I was fast asleep then,” Tom responded.
Other
neighbors said they didn’t see the light.
So, Mark knew he had to research it. What was causing the strange light in the sky? He had to find out.
